Previously, he worked as an AML/KYC Data Analyst, enhancing regulatory compliance across banking segments. He holds advanced degrees in Applied Data Science and Information Technology, and a bachelor’s degree in Physics. His expertise spans inverse geochemical modeling, groundwater quality monitoring for emerging contaminants such as PFAS and pharmaceuticals, and geohydraulic modeling for delineating drinking water protection zones. Since 2017, he has been involved in advanced research on groundwater age dating using Sulphur Hexafluoride (SF₆) and Chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs), employing Gas Chromatography with Electron Capture Detection (GC-ECD). Dr. Louis Boansi Okofo is also actively engaged in evaluating and promoting Managed Aquifer Recharge (MAR) as a tool for sustainable aquifer management and climate change adaptation. Proficient in GIS, database management, and modeling tools, his work emphasizes the integration of field data, geochemical analysis, and computational methods to address complex groundwater challenges.

He is an Analyst at Atrium Health, and he partners with the Wake Forest Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI) to design and implement cloud‐based tools that help medical researchers transform complex datasets into actionable insights. With a career spanning healthcare technology and financial services, he leads the development of scalable data pipelines, automated reporting systems, and streamlined ELT processes that enhance research workflows.Previously, Emmanuel served as a software engineer and data scientist at Marigold and Co. and as a software engineer at Stanbic Bank Ghana. He holds an M.Sc. in Data Science from Carolina University and a B.Sc. in Electrical/Electronic Engineering from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, blending analytical rigor with software engineering expertise.Committed to bridging technical and operational gaps, he also contributes to open-source projects. His work includes developing predictive models for groundwater contamination, anomaly detection in power generation, financial risk assessment, and disease outbreak forecasting. In radio astronomy, he contributes to projects on radio frequency interference mitigation, anomaly detection, and machine learning applications for telescope data analysis. Dr. Ansah-Narh has held research fellowships at the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS) in South Africa and the University of Oxford. Bismark Awinbire Akurugu is a dedicated Hydrogeologist and Research Scientist with a passion for unravelling the complexities of hydrological systems. He holds a BSc in Environmental Science, an MPhil in Hydrogeology and is currently a PhD candidate in Earth Science. His research focus and expertise lie in the application of numerical models and satellite remote sensing data in the assessment of water resource management decisions and climate change impacts on water resources. His expertise extends to the statistical treatment of hydrogeological data, geospatial analysis, hydrochemical modelling, and hydraulic testing. His recent research targets the integration of near-surface and borehole geophysical techniques in subsurface characterisation, remote sensing, and climate models in advanced calibration and validation techniques as applied to hydrological modelling
Kwame Owusu Ampadu received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science and Mathematics in 2004 and commenced the Master of Philosophy Mathematics research in 2007 at The University of Ghana, where he also received the Master of Philosophy Computer Engineering Degree in 2017. He is currently a Dependable Hardware/Software Systems PhD candidate at The Brandenburg University of Technology, Cottbus-Senftenberg, Germany. He served as a lecturer at The Accra Technical University formerly Accra Polytechnic from where he also received a Higher National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering in the year 2000. His research topics mainly include Software Development, Control Systems, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Autonomous Vehicles and Automobile Safety.
Dr. Benjamin holds a Ph.D. in Science from AcSIR at CSIR-National Geophysical Research Institute, India, with specialization in Exploration Geophysics and GIS-based Machine Learning for Mineral Exploration. His research focused on integrating machine learning algorithms with geoscientific datasets to generate high-resolution prospectivity maps for orogenic gold systems in southwestern Ghana. He is proficient in applying supervised and unsupervised learning techniques to identify key geological features controlling mineralization. With experience in geophysical data integration and spatial analysis, he uses data-driven approaches to enhance target prediction accuracy. Benjamin has conducted fieldwork and data processing in Ghana, Nigeria, South Africa, and India, and previously worked with Newmont Ghana’s Geophysics team.
